An eye on the environment
At Kobelco, we’ve placed a strong emphasis on the environment with regard to improving power and productivity.

For example, the integrated noise and dust reduction (INDR®) technology designed into many of our excavators provides superior air filtration, lower sound output, long engine air filter life for a cleaner running engine, premium cooling for long engine and hydraulic system life and up to a 10-percent increase in fuel economy.

Adding easy-to-access, environmentally friendly service ports for changing fluids not only increases uptime, it also decreases the likelihood of spilling pollutants onto the ground.

Cost-of-ownership benefits
For discerning operators and business owners who demand performance and value from their excavators, Kobelco is the leading choice. That’s because reliability is the key to keeping costs low and Kobelco excavators are designed from the ground up to deliver maximum product life. Fuel efficient engines, highly reliable hydraulic systems, and rugged X-frame undercarriages are designed to keep operators on the job longer.
